New York Futurism: A Screening of “Class Divide” at The Museum of the City of New York on 6/28

Don’t miss a great screening and discussion on the future of New York, at The Museum of City of New York, on Wednesday, June 28th, at 6:30 pm.

“New York Futurism” is part of The Museum of the City of New York’s nonfiction film series, Smile, It’s Your Close Up: New York’s Documentaries, inspired by the Museum’s exhibition New York at Its Core which zooms in on key moments, individuals, and communities across the five boroughs to pose the question, “What makes New York New York?”

“New York Futurism” will feature a screening of the HBO documentary Class Divide (2015), and a screening of shorts from the Maysles Documentary Center Education program revolving around the question “What is New York’s future?” Afterwards, Class Divide‘s director Marc Levin and a group of Maysles film students will sit down for a discussion of the films (and beer from Sixpoint Brewery is included with admission!).
