We're very excited Firing Line with Margaret Hoover is now on the air! The show will bring together the brightest minds and freshest voices from across the political spectrum to engage in a contest of ideas about important issues confronting liberal democracy.
There is no better time than now for meaningful discourse- and to revive the most engaging, most civil, yet most ideologically competitive public affairs program in the history of television: "Firing Line." Hosted by the legendary William F. Buckley Jr., "Firing Line" set the standard for national discussion of important issues, ideas and philosophies of government and American culture and social order.
Firing Line with Margaret Hoover will maintain the character of the original series by William F. Buckley, providing a platform that is conservative in its faithfulness to bedrock American values, and diligent in its commitment to a balanced exchange of opinion.
Tune in to watch on Fridays at 8:30 pm, and Saturdays at 10 am on WNET Channel Thirteen.
And after June 22nd, the show will air nationally - be sure to check your local PBS station!
You can watch the first episode with Speaker Paul Ryan - and all upcoming episodes- on https://www.pbs.org/show/firing-line/!
